What are Chakra's?

Updated: Aug 12

  1. Chakras are energy centers in the body that regulate the flow of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual energy.

  2. The word chakra comes from Sanskrit and means “wheel” or “disk”—because each chakra is often visualized as a spinning wheel of energy.

  3. In many traditions, especially in Hinduism, Buddhism, and certain yoga practices, there are seven main chakras aligned along the spine, from its base to the crown of the head.

  4. Each chakra is connected to the central nervous system and endocrine system. They are also connected to specific colors, organs, glands, physical functions and dysfunctions, mental, emotional, and spiritual issues.

  5. Researchers used a technology called Biowell to decipher whether the participants had healthy auras or imbalances in their chakras. I will individually break down each chakra in hope of healing and awareness.
